Scheduled
On Friday, August 10th, after 5pm, Information Technology Services will be performing a significant upgrade on the main network connections that support most Provost IT-provided systems, services and applications. During that time, users may be unable to connect to most of these systems, services and applications, including Provost web sites, file shares/network drives (G: and U: drives), EMS, Laserfiche, the Advisement System, and others.

This upgrade expands and also fundamentally re-routes our infrastructure away from much of the legacy ITS network equipment that has caused significant reliability and stability issues over the past several months. The newer, state-of-the-art connections we are switching to should provide a much faster and significantly more reliable experience from users to our systems, wherever they reside.

Should you have a specific need to access systems or applications that may be affected by this upgrade, or if you have any other questions or concerns, please contact Provost IT by emailing helpdesk@provost.usc.edu or by calling (213) 821-0009 so that we may work with you to make alternate arrangements. Thank you.
